What is Hintsters?

Hintsters is an 100% free online community where members can express their opinions by participating in Surveys Online and by writing reviews about products and services you've experienced. Once you register on our site and tell us a little bit about yourself, your preferences will be matched to unique survey opportunities. You can also start writing reviews you can do as many or as few Surveys or Reviews as you’d like and earn rewards. The more you do the more you will be rewarded.


How can I earn money by taking survey?

Once you register on our site and tell us a little bit about yourself, your preferences will be matched to unique survey opportunities. Take as many or as few surveys as you’d like. You will be reward it for each survey you complete. The more survey opportunities you participate in, the more rewards you earn!


How can I earn money by writing reviews?

Once you register you will be able to review reviews the products and services you've experienced. You will be rewarded by the quality of your review and the positive feedback you received from other member of Hintsters. In order to earn more rewards make sure you write great review by highlighting all the positive and negative things of the product or service and how it compare to others. Include tips to help others to have a great experience or made the right decision.


What Can I Earn?

We are proud to offer Cash via PayPal as a reward to thank you for your time. The key to our success is to find the best way to remunerate our member for their contribution.


How do I write a great review?

Write your review from you personal experience and describe the product or service as you will to a friend. Readers pay more attention when a review is personal and passionate. Share some personal note of why some things are more important to you. Try to highlight all the good and bad things about the product or service and how it compare to others. Include personal tips to help others to have a great experience or made the right decision.


How can I ask questions or write a comment of a review?

You can ask a questions or write a comment of a review and get a reply from the Author or from other members of Hintsters. Simply state your questions or write comments on the questions and answers section.


How do I add a Photo on Hintsters?

Simply find the product or service and click on add Photo then select the photo from your file.


How do I bookmark or save a product or services that I'd like to review or try?

Find the product or services you would like to save and click on Save. The listing will be saved on your Activity account on the Saved tab.


How do I to add a listing on Hintsters?

You can only add listing for the categories we currently have available on Hinsters. If the categories you are looking for it is not listed please check back with us regularly as we will continuously be adding new categories.

  1. Before you add a listing do a search to make sure the product or service it's not already listed on Hintsters.
  2. Click Add a Listing.

Note: The new listing will not be public until our team reviews the new listing and approves it.


Where is My Confirmation e-mail?

A confirmation e-mail is automatically sent to the address you provide upon completion of the registration process. If you don’t receive a confirmation e-mail, please check your spam or junk folder. To avoid future messages from being filtered by your spam folder, please be sure to add support@Hintstersmail.com to your list of your approved senders. If you need a new confirmation e-mail sent to you, please login to My Account, verify that you’ve provided the correct address, using the Account tab, and elect to have a new e-mail sent.


How can I change the name on my user account?

To change the name on your user account:
Please keep in mind that promotional or offensive usernames aren't allowed and using one may result in the closure of your account.

  • Go to the Account Settings section of your account.
  • Click Profile
  • Enter the new name you'd like to use
  • Click Save Changes


Why have I not received a response from customer support?

We strive to ensure that each query we receive is handled promptly and efficiently. Every email sent to customer support will be responded to within 3-4 business days. Therefore, it is of great importance that you are able to receive our emails and survey invites. Please make sure to safe-list us in the most common email providers.


Why my Password does not work?

Click here to retrieve your password and click on "Forgot your Password?". Enter your e-mail address and we will e-mail your password to the address you provide.


Why I cannot login?

If you receive an error message and are unable to login to your account, please paste your username and password into the appropriate boxes, as this may be a factor. Also remember your password is Case Sensitive so it needs to be entered exactly as you provided during registration. If you still encounter this issue, please contact customer support.


What are Profiles?

Profiles are our way of creating the most relevant opportunities for our members. Telling us more about your experience and interests helps us send you surveys that you are more likely to qualify for, thereby increasing your chances of earning rewards. Please take a few minutes to fill out our profiles so you can begin participating in the most rewarding surveys!


How do I cancel my account?

In the unfortunate event you decide this isn’t for you, you can deactivate your account with us at any time. Log into My Account and you will find unsubscribe information at the bottom of the page. When you unsubscribe, we will instantly remove you from our systems and you will stop receiving communications from us. To reactivate your account, please contact us and we will reinstate your account within 3-4 business days.


How long does it take to fill out a survey?

We know your time is valuable, so we aim to keep most surveys between 15-20 minutes. There will be times we offer a shorter survey as well as a longer survey. To help you understand what time commitment is involved, we will always inform you of the expected time it will take to complete each survey up front.


How can I get more survey invitations?

Each survey we send you is tailored to fit your interests and experience. We use the data you provided us when you registered, as well as your Profiles, to send you the most relevant surveys. Completing the Profiles from start to finish will allow us to serve up the most significant amount of pertinent surveys. Please be sure to also check your spam folder and add support@Hintstersmail.com to your list of approved senders.


Why are some surveys more difficult than others?

The criteria and content of each survey is determined by the needs of each specific client. As the nature of each survey is different, you will find that the experience is different. For instance, a quick survey to gather feedback on a new product release will be less onerous than a longer survey to review a new product ad. Completing the Profilers will help to ensure you receive surveys that are most enjoyable for you.


Why are my completed surveys not showing up on my account?

Sometimes we need to wait until after a survey has ended to show credit. As long as you have completed a survey, a credit should appear as soon as the survey closes. This can take anywhere up to 4 weeks after you have taken a survey and it has officially closed.


Who can I contact with a general question?

If you have a general question that isn’t addressed by the FAQs, you can contact our Customer Service team . All inquiries will be responded to within 3-4 business days.


What does it mean when my survey is pending?

In order to ensure the integrity of our community and the quality of the information we give to our clients, we validate the results of each survey. Your survey will have a status of "pending" for a short time while we complete our validation. Upon completion of the validation, your status will change to "earned" and your reward will be credited to your account. This process can take a few days, or a few weeks depending on the nature of the survey.


Are there surveys available outside of the United States?

Yes, We will have surveys that require the participation of our international panel members. If you are a member of the international community, you will be invited to applicable surveys as they arrive. We will continuously add more surveys for our international panel members.


What if a survey encounters a technical error?

We strive to ensure the best survey taking experience for our members, however there is always a chance that a technical error may occur. If your survey encounters an error, rest assured that our team will be investigating the issue with a focus on getting our members back up and running as soon as possible.


Payments

When can I redeem my earned rewards?

The status of your rewards is always available to you via the Rewards tab in My Account. We provide you with an "Account Snapshot" that details what you’ve earned, the account balance you must accumulated in order to be able to redeem for rewards and total pending. This is a quick and easy way for you to manage your reward profile.


Do you offer rewards for referring new members?

We currently do not offer a refer-a-friend program; however we may introduce an option in the future. If this option becomes available, we'll be sure to let you know!


How do I redeem my account balance for rewards?

Once you have reached the minimum threshold required, a "Redemption" button will appear on your Rewards tab. Simply click on the "Redemption" button and you will be able to redeem your rewards. All redemptions will be fulfilled within 3-4 weeks.


Why some of my rewards were deleted?

Rewards earned from participating in surveys are valid for 12 months from the award date. If unused on the 366th day after being deposited into your account, your reward will expire and be removed from your Member account balance. Hintsters will redeem rewards from your account based upon the award date. Your "oldest" reward funds will be deducted first, leaving your most recently earned rewards in your account.


Why was my redemption request rejected?

Redemptions may be rejected due to a violation of our terms and conditions. Each member must “maintain and promptly update the information you provide during registration, and any other information you provide to us, so as to keep it accurate, current and complete." No member may create more than one account on our site as well as no surveys may be taken on IP addresses inconsistent with the registration data collected on your geography. Please review our Terms and Conditions on the site for a more detailed explanation of violation parameters!
