"To Kill a Mockingbird" focuses on justice and racial discrimination through the trial of an innocent man in the racially biased American South

Bit of a dry book at times, but I listened to it on audiobook. It's a very compelling story once you get into it. It does take a while to set up the main story. I got to about a third of the book before it started to gain my interest (I was reading it for the sake of it being a classic). But it's a good take on the social issues of racism, and I would highly recommend it. It's worth the time and effort.

Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird upends the quiet solitude of a segregated Southern town with a story of innocence and virtue, bigotry and hate, love and forgiveness.
